My mantra has always been “say yes, then figure it out”, and it was great that I got to record Didgeridoo at Abbey Road on a movie soundtrack recently. My brother bought me a Didgeridoo when I was about 16 years old, and I learned to play it really well back then.

Fast forward a ‘few’ years, and a well-known composer/musical director asked me to do a session at Abbey Road. I had to source 3 didgeridoos in different pitches. The parts were pretty tricky, but a 3 hour session and we were done! I was invited into the control room to hear what I’d recorded and I was astounded how good it came out! Can’t wait to catch the movie some time next year.
