On 1st October I will become Vice President of the British Trombone Society, after many years serving on the Board of Advisors.

On 12th September I was invited to be a guest soloist for the British Trombone Society Day in Rochdale. I took the BTS Trombone Ensemble through some repertoire, played a solo with the BTS ‘All Stars’ trombone quintet and also featured as a soloist with the Rochdale Youth Brass Band in the evening concert.

It was a very successful day, with artists from all over the UK, and I hope that it may turn into an annual event.
