I am delighted to have been invited to be a guest artist/teacher on the famous Lätzsch Trombone Festival this year. The festival runs from 16-21 December 2014 in Germany and The Netherlands, and includes some stunning artists/teachers including Zoltan Kiss (Mnozil Brass), Stefan Schulz (Berlin Philharmonic), Brandt Attema (Netherlands Radio Philharmonic), Mayumi Shimizu (SWR Symphony Orchestra), Dirk Ellerkamp (Badische Staatskapelle), Peter van Klink (Netherlands Symphony Orchestra) and Jiggs Whigham (Internationally acclaimed soloist/bandleader/educator).
This year’s festival is extra special, as it is the first year they are also supporting a charity. And this year they are supporting my choice, which is my on-going fundraising for The Christie, through the pink pBone project.
I will be teaching jazz/pop/cross-over trombone on this course, and it really looks to be a fabulous event.
Do check out the festival website, and let all fellow trombonists know, as spaces are limited!
