Invited back to Wigan Jazz Club to play in a Maynard Ferguson tribute was great fun!

I hadn’t played here for a few years so was an amazing gig to play on. Featured were two good friends of mine; Andy Greenwood and Craig Wild (trumpets), who took turns ‘being Maynard’, both of them sounding astonishing!

Some of the charts included ‘Maria’, ‘The Spirit of St.Fredrick’, ‘MacArthur Park’, ‘Gonna Fly Now’ and a screaming version of ‘Hey Jude’!.
