I feel very honoured to have been approached by a company called Facet Mutes who make beautiful hand-made wooden mutes for trumpet/trombone.

They have a list of well-known artists on their books, who all have a signature range of mutes, and the ‘Carol Jarvis’ range are a little bit special because a donation from each sale will go into my JustGiving page, which is slowly raising much-needed funds for The Christie charity.

The ‘Carol Jarvis’ range of mutes can all be customised to fit your instrument, and a choice of hardwoods are available. I think you’ll agree that they look really stunning, and it has to be said, they sound really great too!

Soon the mutes will be available to buy directly from my website, but for now, they are only available directly from Facet Mutes. I’ll also be adding a video clip (as soon as I have a bit of time), so be sure to pop back here again soon!
